Children of Alabama’s Indy Grand Prix

Alabama Kids Code, welcome back!

We can’t wait to have you back on the track! In the meantime, have a look at our schedule for Saturday: we are going to start the day off with a Gear Up Your Career panel, an exciting tire tour with our partner Firestone, and then meet and greets some teams and drivers, where we will be chatting with different engineers across the IndyCar and Indy NXT paddock!

Few steps to prepare for a great day at the track!

1) Show your tickets and parking pass at the entrance and park at Lot E next to the Fan Zone

See the attached google map for directions to Barber Motorsports Park. Please plan accordingly so that you are able to meet at the meeting spot at the designated time. It is recommended that attendees arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the scheduled meeting.

Please park where the letter E is on the map.

3) Once you've parked in one of the designated parking areas, make your way to the meeting spot at Lot E directly next to the Fan Zone, as outlined on the below map, where you will meet your Kids on Track representative!

4) Additional "Know Before You Go" Items:

1. Please check the weather on the date of your event to ensure proper attire is worn to the track. If it is expected to rain, plan accordingly with rain attire, hooded jackets, and umbrellas. If it is expected to be warm, plan on dressing for the warmth, as this is an outside event, and if needed, bring a light jacket if it gets cooler.

2. This is a walking event, so please wear shoes you feel comfortable walking and standing in for the duration of the event.

3. Consider bringing water, as there will be a lot of time spent walking and outdoors.

If you have any issues finding the meeting location, please do not hesitate to text us! We recommend texting, since race track are loud!

5) Lunch Break

Lunch will not be provided this year, so we recommend bringing a lunch or some money with you to the track. Timing for lunch should be between the Gear Up Your Career panel and the Firestone Tour.

🚗 Parking & Meeting Instructions

  1. Parking Location: Park in Lot E, adjacent to the Fan Zone.

  2. Meeting Point: After parking, proceed to the meeting point at Lot E, located directly next to the Fan Zone.

  3. Contact Person: Meet your Kids on Track representative at the meeting spot in the Fan Zone
