Robot Academy Students, welcome back to a KIDS ON TRACK experience!

IndyCar Honda Indy 200 at Mid Ohio

We can’t wait to have you join us at the track! In the meantime, have a look at our schedule for Saturday: we are going to start the day off with an exciting tour at the Arrow McLaren garages, then we are going to meet IndyCar veteran Callum Ilott and Aj Foyt Racing drivers. We will be chatting with different engineers and tire technicians across the IndyCar paddock throughout the day!

Few steps to prepare for a great day at the track!

There are several gates providing entrance to the track. Gate 1 is for all ticket sales (cash or credit) and spectators holding tickets purchased in advance (look for the express lane if you have purchased your tickets in advance).

See the attached google map for directions to Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. Please plan accordingly so that you are able to meet at the meeting spot at the designated time. It is recommended that attendees arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled meeting time.

1) Follow the directions to Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, enter through Gate 1 and park at the free parking lots near Gate 3.

 

All non-infield parking is free in the general parking area, located on the South Parking area of Mid-Ohio near Gate 3.

3) Once you've made your way to the meeting spot at the Concession Stands (see yellow star on the map), you will meet your Kids on Track representative, Cate Masetti Zannini!

If you have any issues finding the meeting location, please do not hesitate to text us!

We recommend texting, since race tracks are loud!

4) Additional "Know Before You Go" Items:

1. Please check the weather on the date of your event to ensure proper attire is worn to the track. If it is expected to rain, plan accordingly with rain attire, hooded jackets, and umbrellas. If it is expected to be warm, plan on dressing for the warmth as this is an outside event, and if needed bring a light jacket if it gets cooler.

2. This is a walking event, so please wear shoes you feel comfortable walking and standing in for the duration of the event.

3. Consider bringing water, as there will be a lot of time spent walking and outdoors.

4. Food, snacks and drinks are not provided by the Kids on Track Program, so please plan accordingly by either bringing money to purchase food or bringing a bagged lunch.

🚗 Meeting Instructions

  1. Parking Location: Enter through Gate 1 and park in South Parking Lot near Gate 3.

  2. Meeting Point: Proceed to meeting point at the Concession Stands located next to Turn 4.

  3. Contact Person: Meet your Kids on Track representative, Cate Masetti Zannini, at the meeting spot.
