IndyCar Grand Prix at Portland

Few steps to prepare for a great day at the track!

1) Follow the directions to Portland International Raceway, enter through Main Gate and park at the Broadacre Parking

Enter through Main Gate and proceed to Broadacre Parking.

See the attached google map for directions to Portland International Raceway. Please plan accordingly so that you are able to meet at the meeting spot at the designated time. It is recommended that attendees arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled meeting time.

3) Once you've made your way to the meeting spot at the bottom of the bridge (Circled Below), you will meet your Kids on Track representative, Megan Pron!

If you have any issues finding the meeting location, please do not hesitate to text us at (630) 923-2445

We recommend texting, since race tracks are loud!

4) Additional "Know Before You Go" Items:

1. Please check the weather on the date of your event to ensure proper attire is worn to the track. If it is expected to rain, plan accordingly with rain attire, hooded jackets, and umbrellas. If it is expected to be warm, plan on dressing for the warmth as this is an outside event, and if needed bring a light jacket if it gets cooler.

2. This is a walking event, so please wear shoes you feel comfortable walking and standing in for the duration of the event.

3. Consider bringing water, as there will be a lot of time spent walking and outdoors.

4. Food is not provided by the Kids on Track Program, so please plan accordingly by either bringing money to purchase food or bringing a bagged lunch.

🚗 Meeting Instructions

  1. Parking Location: Enter through Main Gate and park in Broadacre Parking.

  2. Meeting Point: Proceed to meeting point at the Bottom of the bridge.
