iCode Students, welcome to a KIDS ON TRACK experience!

IMSA Sahlen’s Six Hours of THE GLEN

We can’t wait to have you join us at the track! In the meantime, have a look at our schedule for Saturday: we are going to start the day off with an exciting introduction to IMSA, then we are going to meet Watkins Glen International President Dawn Burlew, and we will be chatting with different engineers across the IMSA paddock throughout the day!

Few steps to prepare for a great day at the track!

1) Follow the directions to Watkins Glen International and park at daytime lots located outside of the admission gates.

See the attached google map for directions to Watkins Glen International. Please plan accordingly so that you are able to meet at the meeting spot at the designated time. It is recommended that attendees arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled meeting time.

 

2) See below for a general Map of the Track

You can park in Lot 4, 5, 6. The meeting point is located in the Fan Zone in the middle of the track. Have your tickets ready to show at the Gate!

3) Once you've made your way to the meeting spot at the Fanzone, you will meet your Kids on Track representative, Cate Masetti Zannini!

If you have any issues finding the meeting location, please do not hesitate to text us!

We recommend texting, since race tracks are loud!

4) Additional "Know Before You Go" Items:

1. Please check the weather on the date of your event to ensure proper attire is worn to the track. If it is expected to rain, plan accordingly with rain attire, hooded jackets, and umbrellas. If it is expected to be warm, plan on dressing for the warmth as this is an outside event, and if needed bring a light jacket if it gets cooler.

2. This is a walking event, so please wear shoes you feel comfortable walking and standing in for the duration of the event.

3. Consider bringing water, as there will be a lot of time spent walking and outdoors.

4. Food, snacks and drinks are not provided by the Kids on Track Program, so please plan accordingly by either bringing money to purchase food or bringing a bagged lunch.

🚗 Meeting Instructions

  1. Parking Location: Park in Daytime LOTS (4,5,6).

  2. Meeting Point: Proceed to meeting point at the Fan Zone located in the middle of the Track.

  3. Contact Person: Meet your Kids on Track representative, Cate Masetti Zannini, at the meeting spot.
